The track was initially made for a game. I tried to compose an ambient/epic track, in the theme of dangerous Northern woods. Everything starts slowly, but then things get looming...
Composed with Open Modplug Tracker... tracking forever!

The song sounds a little bit "flat" and lacks dynamic due to little or no volume variation. It is however atmospheric and is well suited for a "dangerous forest theme", allthough I must say i got more a "jungle feeling" than in the dark woods due to some of the drums (sounding native) and the monkey sounds :)
With more powerful percussion, panning-effects and arrangement this song would have sounded far better.
Still .. a nice piece... |
